All the pottery in my shop is thrown or hand built and hand printed designs are added to the glazed surfaces inspired by my local natural environment and the simple pleasures of everyday life. The story behind julia smith ceramics my name is julia smith and i am a ceramic maker based near inverness in scotland. Each piece is handmade by me in my studio in rural inverness.
